Our Swahili course is designed for tourists, travellers, lovers of Africa in general, naturally curious people and lovers of linguistic cultural contamination. We would like to introduce you to the most spoken language in Africa and a true language melting pot that stemmed from the practical needs of communication between Arab merchants and the Bantu tribes, before being contaminated by various European languages. A language that was easily seduced by other languages, without pursuing supremacy, starting as a lingua franca and evolving into a sort of ‘creole’ that has never pulled back and still never pulls back from the contamination that makes it a constantly evolving language.
Whether you want to travel to Africa, whether you want a competitive edge approaching the voluntary sector, whether you want to engage in volunteering activity, whether you want to work in the diplomatic world or just wondered what on earth “Hakuna Matata” means, then Swahili will open your eyes and many doors.
Our courses will be held both online and in-person attendance. Our idea is to promote openness to other cultures, our course was created first to stimulate your curiosity and then conquer you with the beauty of a language that may seem out of reach.
