Live a truly unique experience with our language trip in Meru, Kenya..
Besides perfecting your English in a country where it is an official language, you will have the opportunity to discover a colourful and fascinating place that will test and enrich you deeply.
You will get a chance to meet your peers in local schools, take part in volunteer activities with our partners at Via Etica ETS and Il Volo di Pietro in Meru e Samburu, visit markets and local communities, trek through nature trails and go on safari at Meru National Park, where we will spend the night in the heart of the park that is home to the world-renowned Big five and Buffalo Springs Reserve - an immersion in the most authentic of African spirit.
we believe that providing young people with an alternative language learning journey, outside the conventional English-speaking destinations, is an extraordinary opportunity for personal and cultural growth.
We believe that nowadays, as far as possible, youths should have the opportunity to live an experience and not just act on hearsay. This is the only way we can ready and open them up to the world.
Our goal is not to change the youth, but rather to plant a seed that can sprout over time and help them build a more open, conscious and multicultural society.
For youths aged between 15 and 18 years (including those turning fifteen in the year of the trip). The trip is designed for youths who have completed the first year of secondary school up to those who have completed the fourth year of secondary school.
Our trip is designed for groups consisting of multiples of 6 up to a maximum of 12 participants for each trip so as to offer the maximum possible comfort on transfers and safaris. Each trip shall be deemed confirmed upon reaching the quorum of 6 participants.
Upon reaching the quorum of 6 participants to confirm the trip, further requests will be slotted in the second group up to the total of 12 participants for each trip.
In the event the trip is sold out, requests will be waitlisted, otherwise potential applicants will be advised to consider subsequent scheduled trips.
Depending on the airline chosen, we will depart from one of the Milan airports. Participants will be responsible for the transfer to the airport of departure with arrival at least three hours before the departure time and for the return pick-up of participants within a maximum of two hours of landing time, unless in the event of delays for which the agency cannot be held reliable.
Passing through Nairobi, we will transfer to Meru, a town located on the slopes of Mount Kenya, crossed by the equator and about 260 Km from Nairobi.
